In the Pantry

Here is a list of food I always have stocked away in my Pantry:

  1. Olive Oil/Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  2. Vegetable Oil/Canola Oil
  3. Balsamic Vinegar
  4. Chicken Stock
  5. Flour, Sugar, Brown Sugar (stored in OXO pop top containers to keep them fresh)
  6. Honey (from a farm, not store bought)
  7. Grade B Maple Syrup
  8. Raisins, and other dried fruits
  9. Kosher Salt/Pepper Grinder for fresh cracked pepper
  10. Sea Salt
  11. Roasted Red Peppers
  12. Rice (brown or white)
  13. Cous Cous
  14. Canned Tomatoes (sauce, diced, whole) Try for San Marzano
  15. Coconut Milk
  16. Worcestershire
  17. Low Sodium Soy Sauce

Some things I’ve recently discovered that have changed the way I cook:

  1. Garlic Infused Olive Oil (I don’t know how I lived without this)
  2. My own blend of spice (Equal parts granulated garlic powder and sea salt, plus white pepper)
  3. Ground Chipotle Powder
  4. Pure Tomato Powder
